[Case Study] Growing Customer Base with SEO Content & Social Media Marketing
Client
One of the top 5 specimen shell dealer in the world
Brief
Create brand awareness and drive new traffic to Client’s website
Challenge
Client has an established customer base, but has been struggling to expand and reach new customers.
Solution
Client has a huge archive of written and visual content on their website. Most of the site’s content is evergreen but hasn’t been properly edited and optimized for search engines.
As for their social media, Client has an active Facebook group and a neglected Pinterest account, which we decided to revive.
Here are some things I did to grow their brand’s online presence:
- Audited and updated the website’s content to improve readability and make it more search-engine-friendly.
- Turned most of their old content into pins to reach a wider audience on Pinterest.
- Established a simple, consistent Pinterest posting schedule that is easy to maintain based on Client’s weekly and monthly sales events on their website.
- Implemented and taught Client a few simple SEO techniques to optimize their social media posts on Facebook and Pinterest for better discoverability and engagement.
Results
Within 3 months of implementing these changes, Client saw significant growth in their brand’s engagement on Pinterest.
Not only did their pin views increase, but their content was performing well and was starting to drive new traffic to their website.
And the best part?
Just a month after making these improvements, the business was growing at an average rate of 2-3 new buying customers monthly.
